New To Church, What To Expect.

Whether you are new to church, new to the area, or just want to give us a try, you are very welcome to worship with us! We meet at 9:00 and 11:00 for identical services on Sunday morning. (Our formal kids program is at 11:00).

We believe, as the writer of Hebrews regards,
that the gathering of the local congregation is very important and not something to be neglected.

We come together for prayer, worship, and teaching of the Scriptures. We do all of this with the aim of beholding and magnifying the Glory of Christ, who has redeemed us from our sin, and to stir one another up to love and gospel-centered works.

When you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by a welcoming, smiling face. You can be as anonymous or outgoing as you want – we are a friendly bunch. We have our worship team lead us in song (traditional and contemporary) for the first part of the service and during worship at the 11:00 service, we dismiss our children to their classes in the trailer. If you have children and haven’t checked in with the teachers in the trailer ahead of church, you can accompany them into the trailer to introduce them to our teachers, who will be excited to have them join the appropriate class.

Then we have a short coffee break and time to connect with others, before the message.

Calvary Chapel’s preaching style is predominantly expository, which involves teaching from the Bible book-by-book and verse-by-verse. This means we let Scripture speak for itself. This method allows the congregation to learn the Bible’s themes as a whole, rather than focussing
on a single topic.

After church, you are welcome to fill out a form if you would like someone to contact you or you can speak to our pastors or elders if you are needing prayer or would like more information about Calvary Chapel. We look forward to meeting you!

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Romans 12:4-5
